Marilee Talkington and her collaborators have been working tirelessly to level the playing field for blind and low vision performing artists, and help the industry heal from its exclusionary and discriminatory practices. We are committed to helping the industry and our culture evolve into an equitable and dynamic space of storytellers and audience by training the next generation of blind actors and cultivating future industry change makers.

To refuel, reimagine, and rededicate ourselves to this paradigm shifting movement, we’re pausing classes this summer to do some exciting internal reorganizing, fundraising, website rebuilding, and training strategizing.

We’ll be resuming classes and panels, as well as introducing new cutting edge training opportunities for arts and entertainment industry professionals in Winter of 2023!

CASTING

Casting a project and need a Blind/Low Vision Actor?

Please fill out the CASTING SUBMISSION form at the bottom of this page. Once we review and approve it, we will send it to our community of blind and low vision actors. 

COACHING (AUDITION & ACTING)

We have an incredible list of coaches for acting, musical theater, movement, singing, voice, script analysis, and auditioning that work with blind and low vision adults and kids.

Our referral list is highly curated by AC3 founder, Marilee Talkington, and each coach offers a sliding scale rate to make sure coaching is accessible for those with limited financial resources.

CONSULTING

Although Marilee is currently unavailable for blind/low vision/disability script, industry, and on-set consultations, we are happy to point you in the direction of other experienced and skilled consultants. You can contact us at info@accessacting.com.
