Here is the list of our FALL ZOOM Classes already in progress and some of the Future Class Offerings we hope to add to the roster in 2021.

 
PRE-K & ME*: For Blind/Disabled Kids and/or Blind/Disabled Parents
$65.00

SESSION TWO: October 30-November 20

4 Weeks, One Hour Classes

FRIDAYS: 9:00-10:00 am PST / 12:00-1:00 pm EST

This class is open to All Kids/Parents with Disabilities

Led by a board certified Music Therapist, this class uses music and performance to bring joy, enhance motor skills, verbal skills, and educational goals through creative expression in a fun, lively, and oftentimes super silly ways. 

This class is open to parents or guardians with blind, low vision, or disabled children, as well as blind, low vision, or disabled parents with disabled children. Come join us in growth play!

*For kids that are 2-6 years old. A parent or guardian must be present during class.


TEENS: ACTING 1: FUNDAMENTALS

This class is specifically for Blind & Low Vision Teens

This course provides an introduction to the basic aspects of the acting process for stage, film, and other media. Students will explore elements of acting through the use of the self as a basis for investigation, discovery, and the creation of character. Emphasis is placed on techniques of acting, with exercises in self-awareness, relaxation, collaboration, imagination, improvisation, and scene work.


TEENS: VOICE - For Performance & Life

This class is open to All Teens with Disabilities

This class will focus on guiding teen actors and performers towards owning their voice and developing the skills to expand the possibilities of their voice. It will celebrate the individuality of every voice, and it will help teen actors discover and hone what their voice is called to say. The class will explore different voice contexts including real life conversation, acting on stage, acting on screen, and different social media platforms. It will provide individuals with a vocal warm up that they can use and adapt for any performance context including Voice-Overs. This class is best suited for teens with any level of performance experience and training.  

*Note: “Voice” in this context refers to the spoken voice and not the singing voice.

TEENS: SONG & DANCE MUSICAL THEATER FUNDAMENTALS

This class is open to all Teen Performers with Disabilities

n this class, we will take a deep dive into all of the elements that make up a musical. Each week, we will learn a new song and section of choreography, and by the end of class we will have several short selections we can perform as a class ensemble. Each class will follow the same basic structure: vocal and physical warm-up, brief musical theatre history/vocabulary session, music theory and music learning, choreography learning, and then putting it all together in our group piece.
