(She/Her/Hers) Sammi is a blind dialect/vocal coach and voice/speech teacher. She works as a dialect/vocal coach in Chicago and has worked at theatres including Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Timeline Theatre, The Gift Theatre, Steep Theatre, Strawdog Theatre, Jackalope Theatre, and many more. She served as dialect coach for episodes of The Exorcist (Fox) and Patriot (Amazon Prime). Sammi is an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where she teaches voice, speech, and dialects. IN 2017, Sammi made a video with BuzzFeed called “How to Do 12 Different Accents”, and the video went viral. She holds an MFA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a BFA in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University. Sammi is a proud member of the Voice and Speech Traners Association (VASTA).
